Middle of the week already!

Hardly any crafting done this week.  If only I had a designated space for all of my bits and bobs, alas at the moment it is all kept in a chest and I have to get it all out and put it all back when finished.  I would love to sit all day and sew but for some reason I feel guilty.  If I was making money because of the 'making' that would be different.  Does anyone else feel guilty taking a couple of hours out of the day to be creative?

  1. I'm having the oposite problem at the moment. Really can't get motivated at all!! You shouldn't feel guilty though, enjoy!

  3. Depends on the day. Where I still work full time and I get no help with the house work, if I know there is mess somewhere (which is everywhere right now) I do feel guilty. On the other hand I need to create some of the ideas I've had on the shelf for some time in the vain hope that one day I can ditch the 9-5 and do something worth while and enjoyable with my time. Just do what you need to do and have fun. We only live once right?

  4. Quite right Kat you only live once. You shouldn't feel guilty of wanting to do something creative. There's always going to be a pile of washing, ironing, etc etc no ones gonna have a go at you if you don't do the washing for one day and if they do then tell them to do it themselves lol.

It is a pain having to put things away only to bring it all out again.

  5. I usually have a couple of hours to myself between 9 am and 11.30 while the wee man is at nursary and the rest of the gaggle are at school :-) I use that time to "research" on the internet ( thats code for just surf forums and read blogs ) OR make a few bits and bobs - Today will be bookmark day :-) I have a few to send out so will make a dozen or so extra as stock for up coming fairs :-)

Keep up the fantastic sewing though ;-)
